IMOS BRNO, as part of a consortium of contractors, has started work on a new emergency unit building for TGM Hospital in Hodonín. The ceremonial laying of the foundation stone took place on 11 May 2026.
The new A&E unit will operate 24/7 as a type II facility and provide acute care for more than 60 000 residents of the region. The project includes the construction of a modern building directly connected to the imaging unit, which will enable faster diagnosis and start of the treatment.
The total investment in the project amounts to approximately CZK 155 million including VAT. Funding is provided by the South Moravian Region, TGM Hospital Hodonín and European grant funds. Completion of the construction is scheduled for October 2027.
The project will be implemented using BIM and other modern construction management methods. The new A&E unit will provide patients with high-quality and more accessible acute care, as well as modern background facilities for healthcare staff.
