The reconstruction and capacity upgrade of the water supply pipeline between Hranice and Lipník nad Bečvou have been completed. IMOS Brno was part of the consortium of contractors that carried out the work.
A ceremonial handover took place on 29 September by a symbolic ribbon-cutting.
The project involved the reconstruction of approximately 10 kilometres of water main and the construction of two automatic pressure stations in Jezernice and Podhoří. The new ductile iron pipework was laid using mostly the trenchless ‘burstlining’ technique, which minimised disruption to the surrounding area.
The completed supply pipeline will increase the capacity and operational reliability of the water supply system and contribute to a more stable supply of drinking water in the region.
