On Thursday 1 October 2026, a ceremonial laying of the foundation stone took place for the Silurská Residence project in Prague. The event was attended by the project’s partners commemorating another significant milestone in the implementation of this large-scale residential project, for which IMOS Brno is the main contractor.
The project involves the construction of 225 residential units across two separate building complexes. Building A has eight above-ground storeys and one underground storey. Buildings B, C and D are situated on a shared base comprising multi-storey underground car parks with three underground storeys and five to seven above-ground storeys. The project also includes the construction of transport and technical infrastructure.
Construction is in full swing. Building A has already reached its sixth above-ground storey; on the lower floors, brickwork and the installation of electrical and water distribution systems are underway, whilst interior plastering is being completed on the first underground storey. On Building B, the walls of the second above-ground storey are being erected; on Building C, the ceiling of the first above-ground storey is being completed; and on Building D, the ceiling of the first underground storey is being completed.
The Silurská Residence is thus gradually taking on its final form. For IMOS, this is another significant project in the field of residential construction.
