The reconstruction of the I/35 road junction with the III/01876 road leading to the village of Zašová has commenced. The aim of the project is to improve traffic safety and flow in this busy section, especially for drivers leaving Zašová and turning back into the village.
The construction includes the addition of new turning lanes to the junction, installation of traffic lights, addition of pavements and relocation of the railway line, which will be moved further away from the I/35 road. The project also includes a reconstruction of the Zašová railway stop.
The project, worth CZK 181 million excluding VAT, is carried out by the IMOS Brno, a.s. and MONVIA MORAVA, a.s. consortium for the Czech Road and Motorway Directorate. Completion is planned for the end of 2026.
