IMOS Brno, a.s. started to be active at the Czech construction market at the beginning of 1997 and has become a leading universal building company. During its existence it has built up a strong position among building companies extending its activities from the South Moravian Region to the entire Czech and Slovak republics very soon. Business activities under IMOS trade mark, however, date back to 1990.
In June 2005, the company was divided to Building Construction Division and Water and Highway Construction Division seated in Brno, and Ostrava Division primarily focussed on building construction and situated in Ostrava. In Slovakia the company operates through its branch organizačná zložka Slovensko established in 2004.
IMOS Brno, a.s. as general contractor covers a wide number of projects in the following fields:
• building construction
• water management and highway construction
• road development, accredited testing laboratory
The company´s registered capital amounts to 205 Mio CZK and it is 100% owned by a sole Czech entity - IMOS holding, a.s.
All of our activities are focussed on quality of work, on customer's needs and risk cutting, environmental protection, and last but not least, on health protection and labour safety, and on these grounds we have introduced and continuously maintained a business management system.
For comprehensive management of building production we rely on IPOS information system, which is fully adapted to the needs of a building company. The system is used at each stage of the pre-production, production, and post-production process allowing us to monitor our expenses on each project in time and evaluating the course of construction.
In terms of material and technical equipment the company ranks among the top players in the field. This fact means that we are able to cover even very complicated projects by technical equipment of our own. The operation equipment of the company follows the latest trends.
